About Jennifer

I am 31 years old and have been providing care for adults, children, and pets professionally for 9+ years. I am finishing year 1 of nursing school in May, and am about halfway through. This means that I am provider-level CPR certified and have knowledge and experience working with people with complex health conditions, and identifying and responding in emergencies (former EMT). I have two BAs in Psychology and Music from UConn, and have taken a CNA course. During the school year I have one PCA job and I tutor anatomy & physiology. I am looking for the summer starting in mid May. My approach to working with people is to support them in exploring their thoughts, ideas, and curiosities. I love creative play and activities. I value consent, communication, collaboration, and adventure, above all else! In my spare time, I study aerial silks, am a classical, jazz, and musical theater vocalist (for fun, not professionally), and I enjoy clowning around with my friends, biking, and reading.

What a lovely person to have around the household truly. Not only is Jennie great with my kids but she shows up with a positive attitude and adds a great energy to our household. Jennie is also very flexible and always helps my husband and I out in anyway she can. She takes the kids to the park, dances with them, and does all sorts of activities outside. Jennie truly has been the best nanny we have ever had. The only reason we had to part is because of a move. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a nanny. She is just wonderful!!!
