I am a super fun nanny and caretaker for over 25 years ! I have a wide range of experience from newborns up to 73 years. I'm well educated in child development and love creating joyful engaging days filled with imagination, laughter, and connection. I enjoy singing songs, bringing story time to life with voices and rhyme, doing art projects, and encouraging creative play. I love getting out for library story times, exploring museums, visiting the zoo, and enjoying all the fun San Diego has to offer. Jennifer will go the extra mile to help in whatever ways she can.  She's a parent so she understands how crazy things are for parents trying to juggle life.  I would certainly recommend her!!  She's very nurturing and caring and has the biggest heart for kids.

Jennifer has been with us for about 2 years when we met through Care.com. She has been amazing with the kids. Our family is truly going to miss her but we are moving. The kids loved going on trips to museums, parks, walks for a snack treat and the zoo. My schedule changed a few times but Jenny always worked with us to make sure our babysitting needs were met. She has been very flexible with our changing schedule.

Jenny has been part of our family for almost 3 years. She has taken care of our (now) 3 year old full time since he was 3-4 months old. If you want someone to love your child like their own, Jenny is IT. It is very obvious that Jenny loves taking care of kids, and our son certainly loves her dearly. She was knowledgeable with "firsts" and milestones, which was super helpful for us as first-time parents. There is always lots of reading, singing, playing, and arts/crafts. As our son as grown, she has progressed with age-appropriate activities and learning. Before the pandemic, they did lots of outings at museums, parks, libraries, etc. Since the pandemic, Jenny has been very respectful of our wishes with precautions. She brings suggestions/issues to light and has always been very open about communication, which is key in a nanny. The next family be would be lucky to have her!

Jenny was the first babysitter I had as a first time mom to infant twins. She began babysitting for our family when my twin girls were 2 months old, and continued to do so for the next year and a half, until we moved out of state. 
As a new mother, I was nervous and unsure about leaving my (two!) babies with someone else, but Jenny's relaxed and nurturing manner assuaged my fears. She was wonderful with my girls-she talked to them, sang and read stories, and as they grew a little older, played little games with them. They were always happy to see Jenny when she came over. 
Jenny's vast experience with children, and infants in particular, was very evident. She often would respectfully offer advice and helpful observations about the girls.
Jenny was very conscientious about following any instructions that I left, and was respectful of the rhythms of our home and family. She is professional, punctual and easy to work with.
Any family would be lucky to have her care for their children!

Jenny was my full time nanny all of last year for my son (from age 6 months to 18 months).  She is wonderful, dedicated, totally reliable, and loving. Her vast experience helped me us survive a bout of croup, quickly growing feet, toddler tantrums, and safely transitioning to solid foods. She has a beautiful singing voice and can get any baby/toddler to snuggle for reading time by making books interactive and exciting. She helped keep my home organized, clean, and running smoothly, which made me feel almost pampered after coming home from work.  I would be more than happy to provide more details with any families considering hiring Jenny. 

Jennifer has been part of our family for the last 10 years. When my twins were two years old she was our full time nanny until the kids went to kindergarten.  I completely trust Jennifer with my children and in many ways she helped me be a better parent.  She has so much experience with children and truly loves my kids as they were her own. Jennifer was our live-in nanny for 7 years starting in 2001. I worked out of town, and traveled a lot, so she was a very integral part in raising our children. She started when our son 1 was and our daughter was 4 and treated them as if they were her own. 

She has a unique communication style with little ones. She is patient, kind and loving, while still keeping the children within their boundaries and on time. 

In addition to the child care, Jennifer did the children s laundry and helped with cleaning, which was a great help to our household.

As the kids grew, she spent time working closely with them doing homework and sometimes attended school field trips and functions.

Jenny is a wonderful and very experienced nanny.  She is relentlessly upbeat and positive and engages children beautifully.  She will encourage them in their talents, teach them to try new things, all the while loving them deeply.  She is responsible and very responsive to discussions about how you like to communicate with your children.  While it has been many years since Jenny worked with me and my children, she has lovingly kept in touch with us and emotionally supported my children as they've grown.  I will happily serve as a reference for her.

Jenny joined our family to care full time for my daughter when she was 4 months old, and also cared for my older son after school.  We had planned on having a full time nanny for only one year, but Jenny was so wonderful with the kids, and such an instant fit for our family that she stayed with us for over two years until my daughter was ready to start pre-school.  Jenny is always positive with us and the children, has creative ideas about how to help the kids grow and learn, and was always able to sense exactly what our family needed from her, whether it was a full day outside with both the kids exploring  San Diego, extra help with my son's kindergarten homework, or picking up milk and toilet paper at the grocery store.  She even took the initiative to teach Spanish to the kids!  If she is still available, you need to snap her up!  She is a gem.
