About Jenny

Hi! I have a degree in psychology with an emphasis on child & adolescent psychology. Throughout and after college I worked in many child care environments; I worked at a nonprofit for 5 years which had after school care, summer camp and a teen leadership academy. I started as a tutor, but worked my way up to assistant director and eventually director of the educational programs. We had a big emphasis on literacy in those programs and after working there I continued to work in that field as an assistant children's librarian. I love working with children playing creating and exploring. Recently I have switched to working on farms with the hope to work at an educational farm one day. In that time I have also worked as an at home aide for a special needs child. In my spare time, I like to be outside! Hiking, swimming, camping! One thing you should know about me is I am very passionate at sheep shearing. In the spring I need a flexible/part time schedule to accommodate shearing.
