I currently have an English lab and a ferret. Over the course of my life I have had many cats, another dog, and 2 other ferrets. As a child my eldest daughter was active in horseback riding for 6 years and we spent lots of time with the horses and other barn animals. I am kind, patient and have a sense of humor. I work with small children every day and there is lots of talking-I also have a husband and 2 teenage daughters... at this point, my favorite thing about animals is that they are quiet. Being in the presence of animals is a welcome quiet (even when there is barking, meowing, etc.) but it is rewarding in that it fills your soul in a unique way.
