Jerell was part of a team of independent home health aides that provided excellent care to my sister and brother in law during their last year of their lives (he passed away 11/9/25 and she 1/18/26). They originally came in to care for my brother in law who had a feeding tube and dementia due to advanced Parkinson’s. Later, as my sister also developed significant health issues, they cared for her too. In addition to the excellent personal care she provided, Jerell also went above and beyond. She coordinated health aides’ scheduled coverage, filled in for last minute gaps, kept track of medical appointments and transported them to many appointments. Since we live three hours away I particularly appreciated the way Jerell kept us informed of what was going on, sometimes on a daily basis. It was the loving care provided by the team that kept them out of nursing homes and allowed them to pass away peacefully at home. Jerell was the one that made it work smoothly.
