I am a mother of a beautiful 16-year-old young man. I attended SFSU for my BA in Child and Adolescent Development with an emphasis in early childhood. When my son turned 3 he was diagnosed with autism. I grew an interest in learning about child development and how to support them as much as possible. While in school I was also a preschool teacher. I then went back to school to get my MS in Educational Leadership. As my son continued to grow I was interested learning about all the phases of a childs life and bring support to students with academics and social emotional learning. Tying in all my passions of supporting children with autism, academics and development. As much as I'd love to work in that setting again, I would like to give my time supporting a family with their young children. With these life experiences, patience has been my biggest strength. I enjoy art work, creativity, music, fitness, reading and being a facilitator in children's learning!
