About Jessica

I was planning to become a vet, so I have experience in the past with shadowing vets, as well as working at Creekside Pet Care Center in Southlake TX; I cared for boarding cats and dogs before my senior year of college. I also was on the equestrian team at school for 3 years and team captain my Junior year of college. I also mucked stalls and helped with seasonal kids camps at Full Circle riding academy. I grew up with a Jack Russel terrier, later we got my beloved cat, Sally. I also once helped an abandoned baby bird, Wingie, have a safe home until he was ready to go back to the wild. I have also had fish. We currently have a tank with tetras, a snail, and beta fish. Our apartment does have fees for other animals, so that's restricted our pet ownership at the moment. My husband and I love animals, I will always love animals, even though I did pivot and decide to become a registered dietitian.
