About Jessica

I have worked with children since I was 16 and I am now almost 24. I started out as a camp counselor at a soccer club working with ages 5-14. I did that job for two summers. When I was 17 I started working at a daycare caring for infants all the way through school age. During the school year I volunteer at my church to help teach religious education to 3rd graders. I have been volunteering for about 5 years. When I turned 18 I start working in nursing homes and home health aide agencies as a CNA with elderly people and children with challenges and disabilities. I currently work at a different daycare/ preschool with ages 3- school age. I have been with this daycare for 5 years. I also have been babysitting for multiple families from my daycare for years now. My daycare requires their employees to attend seminars and take classes to keep them updated on teaching children in the classroom. I attend Salem Community College to receive my certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
