About Jessica

I took care of my father during his 20 year battle with COPD and heart disease towards the end. He passed away late November 2013. Since then, I have become an advocate for COPD. I am Georgia's State Advocacy Captain with the COPD Foundation and I am very active in many support groups, and as well admin one online. I had the wonderful opportunity to help a precious woman in her last 5 years. I was with her until the very end. She was 93 years old and passed away 9/21. I am very passionate about the quality of care that a person receives. I'm very compassionate and believe in the power of love, laughter and hope. A positive attitude is absolutely essential. The attitude of the caregiver will directly affect the mood and the outlook of the patient. God directs our steps and puts us where we're supposed to be, and we are all just walking each other home.
