About Jessica

I am an outgoing yet responsible young woman pursuing a career in elementary education. In the meantime, I am looking for a summer nanny position. Because I have been babysitting for over five years now, I have a lot of experience when it comes to working with children. Over the past two years, I have successfully completed two internships at a preschool and at a day care, both overseen by my Child Growth and Development teacher in school. I have also volunteered at a preschool for the past two summers, three days a week for six weeks, to further my experience working with children. I am currently a nanny for twin girls everyday after school, but I am looking for a position, preferably full time, for the summer. I would be available to start by mid-June, when school gets out. Because I have my own transportation, I could bring the children to summer activities, such as parks, museums, pools, the beach, etc., and I would be available for pick-ups and drop-offs. I absolutely love being around children, and watching them smile. When I am with children, I am always very happy. It is for these reasons that I intend to major in elementary education in college. In my opinion, the ideal occupation is being able to work with children for five days a week, definitely making teaching the right job for me.
