About Jessica

I worked in a nursing home for two years and although I did not directly work with patients, I formed amazing bonds with them by working as a housekeeper. For about a year and a half I have been taking care of a couple in their 90's. The wife has dementia therefore I have had experience working through tough situations with her. I graduated Montclair State University as an Accounting major December 2023 but there has always been a big part in my heart that wants to care for the elderly. I'd describe my personality as attentive, thoughtful, and affectionate. I like caring for seniors because I love listening to stories they tell, I look forward to brightening their day, and there has always been a soft spot in my heart to care for them. I started caring for seniors 4 years ago. In my spare time, I like to paint, go on hikes/nature walks, and practice the piano or flute. My skills include having patience, being observant and conversating or doing activities with them.
