About Jessica

Hello! I'm Jess! Over the past year, I've worked as a paraprofessional at a behavioral school while earning my RBT certification. I also have experience as a live-in nanny and volunteered at a Montessori school in Spain, where I first discovered my passion for supporting children's growth, confidence, curiosity, and independence. Working with children has taught me the essence of patience, compassion, creativity, and presence. I especially enjoy creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel encouraged to learn, explore, and be themselves. I have experience working with children with disabilities and communication challenges, and I've learned basic sign language to help children express their needs and feelings. I'd describe myself as kind, curious, and empathetic. Outside of work, I teach yoga, play tennis, and enjoy drawing. I'm currently pursuing a nursing degree and hope to work in pediatrics in the future.
