About Jessie

Hi, I'm Jessie! I'm an educator with experience supporting children through the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County & The Huntington. I hold a B. A. in anthropology from UCLA and am pursuing a M. A. in gastronomy at Boston University. I'm in the processes of recertification for my adult and pediatric CPR/first aid training. I bring a patient, calm, and imaginative approach to caring for children. I establish clear, consistent boundaries and follow your household routines, allowing room for flexibility as we build trust. My goal is for children to feel safe, heard, and confident exploring their interests. I love activities that follow children's curiosity, including crafts, storytelling, hands-on science, and outdoor exploration. With your permission, I also enjoy museum visits as an opportunity to learn. I'm comfortable with pets and provide updates through your preferred communication method. I look forward to getting to know your family!
