About Jessie

Hi, I'm Jessie! I've spent my life around animals and have adopted and trained large-breed rescue dogs as an adult. My approach to pet sitting and walking centers on patience, kindness, and consistent routines that help animals feel secure. At the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, I gained experience caring for exotic animals and, at the time, was one of the few educators certified to work with every animal in our education program, from tarantulas and cockroaches to large pythons and opossums. I enjoy getting to know each animal's personality and adapting to their needs, whether they're energetic youngsters or gentle seniors. I use positive reinforcement and pay close attention to changes in behavior or well-being. If a concern arises, I stay calm and communicate promptly. I look forward to providing your pets with attentive, compassionate care while you're away!
