About Jillian

I am a Primary School Counselor looking for full-time or part-time Summer work. I currently work with children ages 3-9 but also have experience with youth ages 9-14. My philosophy in working with children is to encourage independence, communication, and creativity while maintaining routines and boundaries that are predicable and clear. Imagination and movement is very important to child development, so whether we are inside or outside we will be using our brains and bodies for personal growth! Parent communication and child safety are top priorities for me as a caregiver. I am CPR and AED certified as well as trained in how to respond to Seizures, Blood-born Pathogens, and First-Aid. In addition, I have experience working with children who may have a mental health disorder and/or neurological disability. I am available to start full-time on 6/25/2018. Prior to 6/25, I am available weekends, after-school, or date-nights.
