Throughout my high school and undergraduate career, I worked part time at a day-care facility where I was responsible for the supervision and care of children ages 0-11. I have also been employed in a pediatric research facility at the University of Iowa Hospital. This position was especially rewarding in that I was able to play an active role in the care process for children suffering from various illnesses. My past care experiences have allowed me to mature at an early age and develop an appreciation for children of all ages. I am thankful for the multitasking ability I have accrued through my past work and am excited for the opportunity to serve a new family!
