About Joanalyn

I'd describe my personality as cheerful, compassionate, and energetic. I like working with kids because I like being able to provide a space where they can feel safe, have fun, and be themselves. Being able to make a child laugh or smile will always brighten up my day! I'm looking for a job that can be flexible with hours due to my hectic schedule as I am currently applying for my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. I started working with kids three years ago at age 21 at a Pediatric Therapy Clinic. I also babysit my niece once in a while. In my spare time, I like to crochet, play tennis, and watch my favorite TV shows/movies. My skills include experience with children on the spectrum, I am able to stay calm in overwhelming situations, I have basic cooking skills, and I can perform diaper changes if needed.
