About Joan

I have been around, and spent time with older people for most of my life. I grew up living with my grandparents, and later on cared for my elderly grandmother when she moved in with me after my grandfather passed. She lived with me the last 5 years of her life, including when she began showing signs of dementia. Once she moved into assisted living, I visited her multiple times a week, often spending time with, and making the other residents laugh as well.
