About Joanna

I am an experienced nurse with 10 years of healthcare experience and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). My pediatric nursing background has afforded me childhood development and psychology knowledge and understanding. I am energetic and outgoing with many years of diversified experience (resume and references can be provided upon request). I am able to form trust and a rapport quickly and always strive to provide superior care. I am comfortable with pets and have a fur baby of my own. I worked myself through nursing school as a nanny to three children who sadly outgrew me. I also spent 10 years working at and running a summer day camp, planning and preparing fun and engaging activities for 3-6-year-olds (so I have a few tricks up my sleeve). I have spent most of my life working with children in various respects and would love the opportunity to help care for the little person you care about.
