About Joanne

I am a 63-year-old retired elementary teacher with over 20 yrs of WI public school service, Grades K5 through 8th. 13 of those working years were teaching 3rd graders. I am still making differences in the lives of children, and have so much more to give. After retiring, I worked part-time as a Reading / Math Interventionist in the same local school. This was tutoring children, Grades 5K- 5th, within their school day. I now continue to tutor outside of school. I have the experience of raising 3 sons, providing daycare services as a certified daycare home, babysitter to many infants/children, volunteer in schools, PTO, and Cub Scout leader for 10 yrs. I love children, and books, and I can build learning into all situations. Safety is first, in a positive, caring, learning environment.
