About Joan

My name is Joan. I am the grandmother of three wonderful children, ages 8, 6 and 4. I helped to raise two wonderful boys who are now in their 30's. I also worked as a Qualified Developmental Disability Professional with both adults and children. In that position I was responsible for all the daily needs of my residents including writing their care plans. During the past five and a half years I have worked as a nanny for a family with six children and four dogs. I am creative and passionate about reading, arts and physical activity. In our home I prepare all of our food from scratch and do not believe in using packaged foods on a regular basis.
