About Jodie

I'm an outgoing, caring, and kind individual. Working with kids keeps me feeling young. There is never a dull moment. When I was 12 years old I started babysitting in the summers. When I turned 17 I started working in a childcare center. I worked in childcare for 14 years. After having my own children I decided to get into the school system so I could have the same schedule they had. I started as a teachers assistant and was then asked to teach remediation. 12 years later I became a substitute teacher and would fill in for teachers who needed a long term substitute. I enjoy kayaking, camping, line dancing, reading or just watching a movie. I am 63 years young. I am on the Board of the Seawolf Privateers. It's a nonprofit organization that helps the foster and displaced children in Flagler County. In order to be able to work with the children, my background had to be checked. My skills include being loving, patient and a positive reinforcement.
