About Jodi

Hi! I'm a former elementary school teacher and current SLP graduate student looking for a part-time nanny position. I have 7 years of experience working with children and hold a Master's in Teaching degree. My most recent teaching position was as a 3rd grade teacher at a private school, and I've also worked with preschool-aged children. I'm especially comfortable with elementary-aged kids and love creating a balance of fun and learning. I'd describe myself as warm, silly, caring, and dependable. I love working with kids because they're hilarious, imaginative, creative, insightful, and just genuinely fun to be around! My teaching background also means I'm comfortable helping with homework and educational activities. Outside of work and school, I enjoy gardening, baking, traveling, spending time outdoors, and being with my loved ones and pets. I'm looking for a family who needs a caring and reliable nanny and a schedule that can accommodate my graduate school commitments.
