About Joia

Hi! My name is Joia, and I'm an experienced childcare professional with over 10 years of experience caring for children from infancy through school age. I'm also a mother of two, so I understand firsthand how important it is to have someone dependable, nurturing, and trustworthy caring for your children. My background includes private nanny and babysitting positions, and classroom experience, and managing a childcare program within a health club. I've gained experience with classroom routines, learning activities, and supporting children's individual needs. I'm comfortable with infant and toddler care, school pickups, transportation to activities, homework help, meal preparation, bath and bedtime routines, and age-appropriate activities. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. I'm CPR/BLS certified, reliable, patient, organized, and invested in the families I work with.
