Jorge was my son’s preschool teacher. He always welcomed us with open arms and a smile on his face. He would ask us how are we doing and if we needed any assistance. He would also have some activities set up for my son. Those activities were created using my son’s interests, such as monster trucks, dinosaurs, and soccer. My son would have hard drops off, but he would calm down when Jorge showed him the activities, toys, books, or songs that my son liked. He made him feel safe, welcome, included, and loved. That’s why when we needed a babysitter during the summer, we contacted Jorge. Jorge continued doing what he did at the preschool, such as playing indoors and outdoors, creating activities, reading books, dance parties, preparing snacks, and more. Jorge also ensured that my son was safe and used his words to communicate his feelings and ideas instead of screaming or using his hands. My son had a fantastic time with him
