My first three years in the classroom were spent as a 5th-grade English teacher and then I went on to teach 9th-grade STEM for two years, while running a varsity baseball and robotics team. I have experience working with kids in a classroom setting, as a tutor, and as a babysitter. I have a passion for social justice. As a Master's student, I received the Fellowship for my commitment to public service work and academic excellence. I also attended Oberlin College where I pitched for the baseball team.
