Animals tend to love my calm energy, which I maintain through regular meditation. I'm 51 years old, married, and I'm a musician and classical composer. I've owned a blue heeler for the last 7 years named Patch, who, like many cattle dogs, is rambunctious and stubborn, and not always an easy dog to deal with. But love and patience--with firmness and a stronger will than the dog's--goes a long way. I also love cats, and have lived with them before, but I've never actually owned one. I don't think my heeler would take kindly to a cat in the house! I love working with animals because all animals are God's creatures, and worthy of love, respect, and care.
