About Jourdan

Hi! My name is Jourdan, and I am a caring, dependable, and energetic educator with experience working with children from infancy through elementary school. I have a background in Birth-Kindergarten Education and a Master's degree in Urban Education. I currently work in elementary education and have experience as both a Lead Teacher and Teacher Assistant. I love creating fun, safe, and engaging environments where children can learn and grow. My strengths include classroom management, homework help, creative activities, social-emotional support, and building positive relationships with families. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, educational games, outdoor play, and helping children build confidence. Families would describe me as patient, organized, nurturing, and reliable. I understand the importance of communication and trust, and I always strive to make children feel supported, encouraged, and cared for each day.
