My experience working with kids first started off with watching my baby cousins when I was younger, and from then on I enjoyed it. My mom was a babysitter herself and I would enjoy playing with the kids when I was able too. I volunteered at Washington State University Childcare Center for a semester. I interned at the YMCA of the Palouse, where I got to be a Summer Day Camp Counselor. I got promoted from my internship to a staff member at the Y and I am now able to work with kids as a site coordinator for our After School Childcare Program.
