About Joya

I'd describe my personality as kind, large, and passionate. I like working with kids because they often still have an excitement about the world. I'm looking for a job that is willing to work with the fact that I do have teaching responsibilities, but I will also ensure that I am doing everything asked of me. I started working with kids when I was about 10 years old, but have only been doing it outside of family and friends since I was 18. In my spare time, I like to read, write, hike, swim, snowboard, and ice skate. One thing you should know about me is I'm getting my degree in education and starting my master's program in January after I graduate in December. My skills include I have a large imagination that can keep up with kids, I work with kids all day as a teacher and can help with homework, and I can carry and hear multiple conversations at one time.
