About Joy

Hello! I have over 25 years of experience working with children and families. Currently I am a transitional kindergarten teacher with PUSD. Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to nurturing children and supporting families. My experience includes working with children from newborns through school-age. I have worked as a nanny, labor and postpartum doula, a liaison for foster care children and a preschool teacher. I hold an associate degree in Child Development, a bachelor's degree in Human Development, and a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also a proud parent of a 13, 16 and 19-year-old. In my spare time I love going to the beach, working in my succulent garden and spending time with my family. I I'd love to connect and see if we would be a good fit.
