About Joy
Experience: 10 yrs
I have been caring for children in some capacity since I was 16. My experiences ranges from overnight care to after school care (at the YMCA). I have also worked as a teacher's aide, and substitute teacher and love playing with the children I care for. I try to incorporate learning with play, and believe in peaceful discipline. I have a BA in education, and also studied conflict resolution and dramatic arts. More recently I worked as a Child and Family Therapist with an AAC license for 2 years, have fostered and am currently a certified Behavioral Therapist currently using ABA as a one-on-one para.
