About Julia

My personality can best be described as easy going, optimistic, and creative. I do my best not to stress out, and look for the positive in any situation. I have four daughters ages 11-18. There is a lot of teenage girl drama in my household! The thing I miss about working with little kids is their curiosity and natural joy. I've nannied before and my favorite part is the relationship you build with the child and the family. I miss those kiddos but cherish the memories made. I hope to establish those sorts of relationships with the next family I work for. My time at home is spent with my family. I also love reading and going to the movies with my husband. Families should know I'm reliable. I'll show up when I say I will, and I'll do what needs to get done. My greatest child care skill is my patience. I can help kiddos navigate big emotions. I know not to take tantrums personally, and can stay calm while a child expresses their frustrations without encouraging the behavior.
