I have assisted my aunt who is blind, my grandmother and others with many needs such as: taking them to their doctors appointments, running errands, filing out paperwork, going to social security office, shopping malls, DMV etc. I do light to deep house cleaning, organize rooms and go grocery shopping. I'm a certified masseuse so I give massages when it is needed. Read books, encourage exercise and do food prepping and light cooking. I followed the Gerson therapy for my grandmother who had leukemia. I assisted in bathing her and administered the medication in a timely manner. I enjoyed every minute of providing quality care for my grandmother. She deserved the best so I took a leave of absence from my job in order to care for her. After her death, I became interested in Oriental Medicine and acupuncture. So now I'm in my third year of study and want to specialize in geriatric medicine. Therefore I decided to apply at Care. com to find another special family to work with.
