About Julia

Hi! I've been working with seniors on a personal care level for 4 years and have had a passion for this field long before that. For years, I helped in caring for my grandmother when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and again went through the same process when my aunt with Down syndrome began to decline due to the same disease. I currently work at a retirement community in the area and am pursuing a degree in social work at Temple University. I have experience with dementia care, aphasia, and overall decline and believe aging in place for as long as possible is a necessity when it comes to elder care. As a caregiver, I will help in anyway I can to ensure the individual's comfort and autonomy and make everyday easier for them and their loved ones.
