About Julia

I frequently babysat as a teenager in my neighborhood and for my three nephews. I have a desire to use my work experience and believe my skills will translate well to working with children. I have 5 years experience working with special needs and adolescents, who require care during the day. I have assisted them in showering, hygiene, and routinely changed diapers. I was lead staff where we took them into the community for recreational activities. I was solely responsible for planning arts and crafts and life skills lessons. Lots of patience is required for the work I have been doing.
