About Juliana

Hello! I am Juliana, a part time SLP and nanny. Working with children brings me joy and challenges me to look at the world through new perspectives that are constantly changing. I think my top 3 skills are communication, engagement, and play! I'm looking for a job that allows me to create a long lasting relationship with a family, with good communication and mutual respect. I'd love the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences focused around nature, art, music, and play. I started working with kids when I was 13 babysitting for my neighbors! The experiences I had taking care of families that were growing up alongside me were deeply meaningful. I am fluent in Italian, and would love to work for a family that would be interested in introducing or maintaining the language in their home. When I'm not working, my favorite past time is gardening! I also love hiking, swimming in, and exploring the James River, playing the piano, and reading with my husband and our 2 rabbits.
