My name is Julianna and I am a 30 y/o Army Veteran. I am super sunny and friendly, but no pushover with kids. I am a good friend for children to have, I don't talk down, explaining things at a level they can understand, I reinforce creativity and I encourage learning. I have 3 much younger siblings, I grew up a Mini-Mom. I have 2 Mentally/Emotionally Unique brothers, that have given me patience and compassion for the Uniquely Minded. I am very adept with kids of ALL Ages. I started babysitting young and have worked numerous odd jobs over the years working and/or teaching children. I love to play games and read stories animatedly; Make games out of mundane tasks, like cleaning up and make learning fun and exciting. Due to recent events, I know a good majority of kids will be doing some version of online learning; I am on board with helping with offline reinforcements. I like to help teach the kids why it is important for THEM to take an ACTIVE role in caring and doing their work.

Julie has watched my 2 year old daughter and my 6 year old son a number of times over the last 2 years. She is very good with them and they both love when she comes to watch them. She has a very kindly manner and good patience. My daughter, N., is going through the terrible twos and is very high energy. I feel completely comfortable leaving her in Julie's hands for a while because she doesn't give into N.'s every whim. She is firm but not unkindly so. She makes a great babysitter and I would recommend her to anyone looking for good care.
