About Julia

Hi! I'm Julia, a premed student in New York, currently studying for the MCAT. I graduated with honors from the University of Michigan last May. I've always loved working with kids as I grew up babysitting my 10 younger cousins and neighborhood families since I was 14. I'm super friendly and patient and love babysitting and tutoring. Throughout college, I was involved in multiple volunteer tutor clubs such as Proyecto Avance, Latino Mentoring Association, where I tutored middle school students 2x a week, as well as a volunteer SAT prep tutoring club, helping Detroit high schoolers prepare for the SAT. My senior year, I only had a few classes left in my major, so I worked as a nanny for 5 families around Ann Arbor with kids ranging from 2 to 12. I also picked up a 7-year-old boy from school every day and tutored him in math and English. I previously worked as a camp counselor and love playing games with kids and being outside.
