About Julia

As a recent college graduate from a teacher education program, I know how crazy the transition has been to virtual learning and just how much the pandemic has been affecting the classrooms and the children. I know a lot about math and education but am also ready to bring learning to the online world if your family is more comfortable with that format during this time. I have taught kids for many years in swim lessons, Girl Scout camps and the teacher education program at my university. While I am only certified to teach high school math, I am also ready to help out with lower grade levels in reading, writing, etc. I am excited to begin working with kids and seeing that lightbulb moment all over again that made me fall in love with teaching!
