About Julia

I'd describe my personality as caring, intelligent, and devoted. I am reliable, timely, hardworking, and flexible. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I have over a decade of childcare experience. My first every babysitting job as a teenager was for a foster mother. It was a steep learning curve, but as a result I have a lot of experience and patience with kids of all different backgrounds, behaviors, and special needs. I have a Master's degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing. As you may imagine, childhood literacy is of the utmost importance to me! I believe that fostering a love of reading at an early age is vital. In my spare time, I like to go on hikes and spend time outdoors. I have been a professional dog walker here in Madison for the past year and a half. I have my own transportation and an a nonsmoker.
