About Julia

I'm a Deerfield Academy graduate and current UNC Chapel Hill student with over four years of childcare experience across a wide range of ages. In Summer 2025, I worked at a sleepaway camp in Maine with children ages 6-15, teaching swim lessons, lifeguarding, and living in cabins with campers. I also provided consistent care for a family with two children (ages 6 & 10). I founded and led a girls' developmental hockey camp for two summers, creating engaging practice plans that fostered confidence in young female athletes. I've been a trusted babysitter since age 13 for children ages 1-12. I've always connected with kids through my warmth, dependably, and high engagement. I love trips to the park, outdoor play, and creative activities. I prioritize a safe, positive environment and am happy to help with homework. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, comfortable with pets, have reliable transportation, and can assist with household tasks. I'd love to support your family!
