About Julia

I have recently graduated from UMD with a Bachelor of Science in GIS and a minor in environmental sustainability. I really enjoy spending time outside and staying active. I have previous formal experience as a nanny for a family of four children of the ages of 1 to 9, in addition to the years of caring for little cousins! I have so much fun bringing new activities to keep them engaged (and off of their tablets)! Through my school, I have had CPR and general emergency training, however, I am not currently certified. My goal is to keep time with the kids fun, active, and educational whenever possible. As a recent graduate, I am looking for full-time jobs in my career field, but in the meantime, I have a part-time job at a coffee shop and am returning to Care. com to fill my time! I chose to list as part-time, but if the fit is right I am willing to take down my hours at the coffee shop and work full-time. Feel free to contact me with any inquiries- I am open to new challenges!
