About Julia

Hi, I'm Julia! I am a sophomore at Boston College majoring in Transformative Education and Sociology. I have taken a variety of History courses as well, establishing a strong foundation with reading and writing. I have three years of experience working at my local Boys and Girls Club as an after school tutor for elementary students and full time as a summer camp counselor. There, I helped students with their math, english and science homework and created extra practice assignments when needed. As a tutor, my goal is to lead students to success with their assignments, encouraging them to believe in their own abilities while challenging them to grow beyond these skill sets. I am happy to be available virtually and in-person. I eager to help all ages, including older students who may be writing essays often and applying to college. I look forward to working with you soon!
