About Julie

Hello! I have 7 years of childcare experience, including time as a PT nanny, a FT ECE in two licensed child care centers, a FT intervention para-educator and a FT Student Support Advisor at a non-profit International Baccalaureate charter school. I have worked with children ranging in age from newborn to 17 years. My style of care is highly individualized based on the needs of the parent(s) and the child(ren). I believe in positive redirection and developing a level of mutual respect with the children in my care. I find that these two guiding principles have helped me help my kiddos have fun while they grow. In addition to childcare, I have experience in: coaching basketball and running, caring for pets, housesitting/cleaning, and event/travel planning. In my spare time I am an avid reader, a music lover, a world traveler, and a dedicated dog mom to a goofy golden doodle named Henry.
