About Julie

Hello! I am a long-time educator and forever-learner. I have taught at many different levels and subjects including, elementary (and adult) remedial reading teacher, middle school English, science and history teacher, Algebra teacher and mostly Biology teacher. The latter subject being what I majored in in college and taught for six years in Klein ISD. It is also the topic for which I received Teacher of the Year at Klein Forest High School! And beyond any one subject area, I am mostly passionate about the skill of learning itself. That would be note-taking, listening and organization skills. Now as a tutor, I am discovering a new love of helping students one-on-one! I have primarily focused on helping with Biology, and Reading but am open to discuss other topics.
