About Julie

Although I was originally looking for a part-time job caring for older adults, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that might not be the only path I should look into. I am a mother of four grown boys. Three of the four are in the military and the other one is an electrician. We moved here recently from the Midwest where after giving up our dairy farm, I was a greenhouse manager for 12 years. My husband works 4 days a week so I really am not looking to work on Fridays except under certain special circumstances. I have no grandchildren yet but I'm starting to think that might change in the next few years. It might be nice caring for a young toddler or two if the circumstances are a great fit between us. I have a small rescue dog (Marvin) that can either come with me or stay home. He's great around kids, doesn't bite, doesn't bark, and his potty trained. I have common sense, play outside, get dirty, & like to read real books instead of tablets to the kiddos!
