About Julie

I have been working with children in some capacity for over 30 years. I was a private nanny in France in a live in situation. This was a wonderful experience for all. During high school and college I babysat two different families. I have 28 years of licensed teaching experience with grades 3-5 and grade 11 and 12. I'd describe my personality as calm, fun, creative I like working with kids because they are unpredictable and always seem to make me laugh. I love the energy they bring to any space. I'm looking for a job that has afternoon hours and clear directions. I started working with kids when I was about 12 and chick members would ask me to babysit. Then neighbors started asking too. In my spare time, I like to read, take walks, spend time with my husband and try new recipes. I am good at distracting kids when they are upset I have an encouraging style when helping with projects and I am kind.
