Hello! I'm Julie (34) I live in South AVL. The family I've been nannying for two years moved to FL recently. I cared for 3 kids with them and the youngest was 3 months old when I started. I have a lot of child care experience~ 4 years as the Art Teacher at a preschool, worked with infants here too. I then worked at a preschool for about 7 months called "seeds of wonder journey school". I am responsible, present, compassionate and have calming energy and know how to play and be active with your kids. In my free time I am reading, moving my body, spending time in nature, being crafty, baking or hanging with friends and boyfriend. I have a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling and am looking for supplemental income while I build my private practice, I also just love working with kids! Julie has worked for our family of 3 kiddos over 2 years now. We hired her when our youngest was 3 months old. Julie made transitioning back to work from mat leave so smooth because I immediately trusted her. She has a very calming presence, listens carefully to what our needs are, and is always coming up with fun crafts or outdoor adventures. She is dependable, active, patient, engaging and warm - and all three of my kids love her (which is impressive since they span ages 2, 5 and 7 with different interests). We are moving states and couldn’t convince her to come with us; we’ll miss her dearly! Anyone who has the chance to hire her would be lucky.
