About Julissa

I'm currently a student at UIC studying Pre-Nursing and have 4 years of experience caring for children through babysitting and caring for my younger siblings. I've also volunteered at my former elementary school. I'd describe my personality as caring, responsible and patient. I enjoy helping kids learn grow and feel safe and comfortable as well. I also enjoy getting to know their personalities and having fun with them. I'm looking for a full-time childcare position where I can provide a positive environment for children while gaining more experience in childcare. I started working with kids when I began high school and it's something I enjoyed. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my sibling's and family or go on walks. One thing you should know about me is that I genuinely enjoy working with kids. I always make sure they feel comfortable and supported around me. My skills include patience, responsibility and communication.
